About Us
Jay Horowitz grew up in South Euclid, OH, went to Brush High School and attended Ohio State University where he obtained a Ph.D. in Physics. From 1974-85 he did research in biomechanical engineering and computer applications in medicine at Case Western Reserve University. His developing interest in computer graphics led him to NASA Glenn Research Center where he created the G-VIS Lab, an agency pioneering facility for advanced visualization and virtual reality technology. His work there rekindled an interest in 3D photography which became an obsessive hobby.
